It has to deal with the data separator. It can keep double-density "read"
from working.

Subject: [sebhc] Z37 Calibration

I just received two Z-37 controllers and noticed that the Operation manual
talks about recalibration using an oscilloscope, unfortunately I don't have
an oscilloscope - How critical is the calibration?

I'm about to try one of the controllers in the computer, but don't have the
diag disk or any other way to test them other than seeing if it can write
and read from the disks.
