There were some HACKS that allowed 35-track drives to work with the H17, but it was 40 tracks when it came from Heath/Zenith. I've got one right behind me as I type this: a WH17. -------------- Original message -------------- From: "dwight elvey" > Hi > The H8/89 normally only uses 35 tracks, even with a > 40 track drive, for hard sectored. Absolutely not true.  The H17 used 40 track drives.  There were some HACKS that allowed 35-track drives to work with the H17, but it was 40 tracks when it came from Heath/Zenith.  I've got one right behind me as I type this: a WH17.
