Yep, Peter's little file was for one of the original text editors.  My 
memory is too ancient to identify which one but the commands are pretty 
self explanatory, e.g. two periods starting in left hand column is a 
comment, a period followed by 2 or more characters is a formatting 
command, e.g.
.rm xx is (probably) "set right margin to xx spaces", etc.  Oh, boy, the 
good old days.
