If the tape software doesn't know how to use the 8250 ports at all, then it 
might be worthwhile to modify the integral H19 in the emulator so it can 
work via the 8251 also.   Until then, my fix won't make that particular 
software useful, but it should still keep the CPU from halting.

I might consider doing this myself when I get set up so I can rebuild the 
emulator.  I'm not currently set up to compile for windows.

Anybody got a "copyleft" Linux -> Windows cross-development kit?
