[sebhc] H8 configuration

Hi
 I'm going to be setting up my older H8 to have the
H17 board installed. The problem is that this machine
has only the serial/cassette board ( H8-5 ) and not
the H8-4 serial board. Is this configuration possible?
I know that on the H89, the cassette and H17 are on
conficting addresses. Can one configure this older
setup to run without using the H8-4 board? Is there
a way to share or disable the cassette address on the
H8-5 board?
