Hi
 Well, I finally connected everything up to see if
it would boot from disk. As one might expect, no luck :(
It is close. It selects the disk and turns on the motor
but it is failing to step to track zero. The stepper
motors seem OK. It is free with power off and locked
with power on. I tried swapping the drives and also
the controller card. Neither seemed to help. I started
it both from the XCON8 routine ( that times out ) and
I also started the disk init from 030.000. Both with
the same results. The code seems to hange at 035.311
This seems to be waiting for some RAM to be updated
by an interrupt.
 Does anyone have a pointer to the floppy connector
diagram on the webb for a 5-1/4 drive? I have this
around someplace ( even have an original manual )
but I never seem to find this stuff when needed. I
get it running this weekend.
