If anyone is interested in specific articles in these, I can make copies for them. The issue 1 of Sextant does have an interesting article on making stand alone booting disk. I wish I'd had this info when I made my first stand alone boot disk. When I did mine, I didn't even have the H17 listing. I was wondering if there were others on this list with these and if anyone had a working OS to run on these. I don't expect to be using a H10 but I expect to just be using image files from my lap top. I can read paper tape if it is needed. Since the H-11 was a stock LSI - 11 processor from Dec, there should be, several OS's and Languages out there, as binary files. Anything that ran on an 11/24 should work. Just Google on LSI-11 Software Archive, and it should get you started! But beware! You are entering the realm of the Sixteen Bit Processor, considered to be an abomination to the SEBHC!!!! JUST KIDDING! Where else would you have to go???? Just Bob! Dwight K. Elvey wrote: >Hi > It looks like I may get a couple of H11's in as-is >state. One of the accessories is an H-10 paper tape reader/punch. The standard OS for the H-11 was HT-11, which was simply RT-11 that had been "bastardized" so that it would only run with an H-27 disk system. Stock RT-11 would also run but was out of the price range of most H-11 owners. -----Original Message----- From: sebhc-bounces at sebhc.org [mailto:sebhc-bounces at sebhc.org] On Behalf Of H.E.Robert Sent: Monday, November 14, 2005 10:23 PM To: sebhc at sebhc.org Subject: Re: [sebhc] H11 machines Hi Dwight, I've been looking for one, but can't afford one yet, but there are a bunch of sites that archive the software for the Digital Equipment Corp. family of processors. I don't know if any of them are available online. If anyone would like to borrow them, I'd be glad to loan them out. -- Lee A.
