Not to get political, but Bush cut the Army Corps of Engineers funding for
New Orleans in 3 of the past 4 years, most recently just 60 days ago. The
cuts were big (about 50%) and the specific projects cut included
strengthening the very levees that failed.

Hi
I think we are all here, just nothing new at the moment.
I was able to get a controller card and a drive box
recently for my second H8 so I don't have to swap
board back and forth when checking compatability
of my code.
What I need next is a soft sectored controller. I
need to keep watch for one of these.
Dwight
PS
I wish those that were effected by the huricane the best
of luck. It does seem a shame that the risk there has
been known for years. It was just a matter of time
before something like this did happen. Can one say that
it was wrong to stay in harms way or that it was wrong
to not fortify more? After all, I live in California,
near a major earthquake fault. Someday, it will let
a big one go. Am I wrong to stay in harms way?
