That would be really interesting to try. I know that the Linux kernel
has support
for the ZIP drive and many other Parallel devices. The homepage is:

messages that I posted to their maillist years ago). The big question will
be whether or not the H89 has the speed to keep up with this device.
I believe the code is relatively isolated from from the full kernel, so it may
not be to hard to decode.
I wonder if the SCSI version of the ZIP drive would work with Z-89-67
controller.
I think it was Lee that mentioned that it used something (SASI?) earlier but
similiar to SCSI and SCSI drives may work. I would love to have a 100M
removable
disk for my H89 (then I wouldn't have to keep trying to get my soft-sectored
controller working ;-) ).
