It's an analog computer; NO bits! Or infinite bits, if you prefer :-)

I used one in college. They are really neat machines. Basically, a bunch 
of analog opamps, with the inputs and outputs readily accessible on the 
front panel. Almost any imaginable differential equation can be solved 
on them, but it would be useless for adding 2+2.
