Dave, for me the most useful resource in playing directly with the H17
hardware has been the CP/M BIOS listing, which contains nearly line-by-line
comments in its functions.

Correct.

Different drivers. Which disk subsystems your machine supports is a
function of which drivers (.DVD files) are on the diskette from which you
booted.
