Paul/Jack,

I've just posted a scan of a more recent iteration of the ET-3400[A]
modification kit documentation. It includes sections for both the original
ET-3400 (Part 1 of the document) and the ET-3400A (Part 2 of the
document). Also included (and just acquired 2 weeks ago) is the
ellusive pictorial fold-out ...but only for Part 1 (the original ET-3400).
I do not have the pictorial fold-out for Part 2 (ET-3400A).

To determine which ET-3400 you have, simply look at the number of
RAM chips installed. If you have 4, then you have the earlier ET-3400.
Everthing you need is included in the document posted. If you have 2
RAM chips ...you have the newer ET-3400A (and you will need to
find the missing pictorial fold-out somewhere else).

As interesting ...if anyone can determine a suitable replacement for
the GD510 diode required to modify the ET-3400, then I would sure
like to hear about it. I can't find any info or cross-reference data on
it. The modification for the newer ET-3400A doesn't require any
parts (other than a ribbon cable, and a homemade foil RF shield).

Enjoy ...

Scott
