Now that is absolutely true, and I even want it for a PC.  But the problem
there is the interface to the floppy drive, not the interface to the host
system.

By the way, you want 8-inch soft sector, not hard sector.

Hi Bill
 I think there is general interest in a programmable
USB interface to floppy drives. One that could handle
all the various drives from 8 inch hard sectored to
2.88M mini floppies.
